Saul Carliner, PhD, CTDP, CFT is a Professor of Education at Concordia University in Montreal. He is Director of the Graduate Programs in Educational Technology and the Graduate Certificate in University Teaching. His teaching and research interests focus on instruction and communication of content for work, the management of groups that produce this content, and professionalism in the field. He has received research funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Entente Canada-Quebec, Canadian Council on Learning, and Hong Kong University Grants Council. Among his over 200 publications are 10 books, and over 50 peer-reviewed articles. He holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, University of Minnesota--Twin Cities, and Georgia State University.
