Robin S. Grenier, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Adult Learning in the Department of Educational Leadership, at the University of Connecticut. In the Neag School of Education she teaches graduate courses in adult learning theory, organizational and workplace learning, and qualitative research. Robin earned her Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, as well as a Certificate in Qualitative Inquiry. Before moving to higher education, she worked as a high school English teacher in Tampa, Florida and a training and educational consultant for school districts and non-profit organizations throughout the United States. Her research interests include: expertise development, informal and experiential learning in the lives of adults, museums as places of life-long learning, and qualitative inquiry.
