Carrie E. H. Johnson is a current Doctoral Candidate of organizational leadership at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Prior to her current academic ventures, she obtained her master’s in business administration from Mount St. Mary’s university in 2019, and a bachelor of arts in biology from Hood College in 2013.
Ms. Johnson is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Academy of Human Resources Development. Additionally, Carrie is a Compassion Fatigue Certified Professional. Her doctoral dissertation explores the impact of compassion satisfaction on the relationship between compassion fatigue and mental illness among a population of veterinary nurses; striving to improve the veterinary industry via large scale cultural and organizational initiatives to strengthen the employee experience.
