Holly Jackson, PhD works with students in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University and students with an HR focus at Villanova University. Dr Jackson also continues to provide consulting services in instructional design and facilitating in the virtual environment. Dr Jackson’s current research interests include the evolution of Human Resource Development (HRD), the idea of disciplinary identity, HRD’s role in Education and Business, organizational leadership and the evolving role of management consultants. Dr Jackson also has an evolving interest in the inclusion of voices from workers and scholars from disadvantaged groups, and how to build these voices into the components of HRD theory and practice. Dr Jackson has presented her work at the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, as well as the Academy of Human Resource Development.
