Abstract: This dynamic experiential workshop will introduce the AHRD scholar-practitioner community to two powerful reflective methods, French Kairos and Action Learning Conversations (ALC’s), both used by two experimented facilitators to support deeper reflection and learning in workplace settings. Each method has different theoretical groundings (life history, phenomenology for Kairos, transformative learning, critical reflection for ALC’s) however each method is designed to help managers uncover the hidden meaning often embedded in their experience in order to generate new insights and inform future actions. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment each method and reflect on their respective values and potential applicability.
